Played at Pacific Poker and lived to tell about it

I read about a cool raffle on pacific poker and decided to check it out. The raffle – at this link: http://specials.pacificpoker.com - is a pretty original thing - I’ve never heard about something like this before.

So I’m officially participating and here it goes: First, I downloaded the software from the site. It was clear-cut, not too difficult to download software. It took about seven minutes from start to finish. I have played on other poker software programs before and this one is definitely up to par.

The best feature is that there are no frills. Its poker software designed for real poker players – there is no hoopla and whistles and special features to distract you. The simplicity does not make it featureless, though. There are multi-hand game options and all the popular poker games: Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi – Lo, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Hi – Lo.

There were thousands of players online when I was on. The entry lobby was laid out in a nice way, it was easy to navigate through all the options. I settled down at a Texas Holdem table called Monte Carlo and began to play for free. There are two versions of the games available, too, you can choose to play for practice or real money. I chose practice for my first time.

The game moved fast, the players knew what they were about and a little time clock showed how much time they had left to play there hand so you weren’t stuck wondering who was going and what was happening

Played for a lot longer than I meant to but it was worth it.

Started this thing to enter the raffle and ended up finding a nice poker room that’s worth checking out.

This was my review of Pacific Poker online poker room.
