Terms and conditions

  1. Entry to the Promotion is available only to persons over the age of 18. You may be asked at any stage to provide to the Promoter or a third party proof of age and/or identity.
  2. Employees and relatives of employees of the Promoter and any entities affiliated or related to the Promoter are not eligible to enter. For these purposes, the term "relative" shall mean spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
  3. Entrants shall be entitled to make multiple entrants to the Promotion. In the event that the Promoter deems that an entrant has executed any act in bad faith in relation to the Promotion, such entrant shall be excluded from the Promotion and therefore ineligible from winning any of the Prizes, as defined below.
  4. The Promotion shall commence on 20th February, 2007 and shall conclude on the 22nd August, 2007 (the "Promotion Period").
  5. In order to enter the Promotion an entrant must write a review (the "Review") describing one of the PacificPoker.com products or an experience from PacificPoker.com and, subject to the Promoter's prior approval, the entrant shall post the Review on his own Internet site or blog.
  6. Each Review must be a minimum of 2 paragraphs and must not contain any language which would reasonably be understood to be defamatory, threatening, distasteful, racist, unlawful both in general terms and specifically towards the Promoter and its Internet sites.
  7. For each Review approved by the Promoter you will gain one entry to the Promotion draw.
  8. You undertake that the Internet site or blog to which you post the Review shall not be an Internet site or blog targeted to persons under the age of 18.
  9. Once the Promoter has approved your Review you shall receive an email confirmation from the Promoter which shall include a unique number for the Promotion prize draw (the "Prize Draw").
  10. The Promoter shall execute four Prize Draws which shall take place at 16:00 GMT at the registered offices of the Promoter on the raffles dates.
  11. The entrants to the Promotion who qualify for the Prize Draw shall be eligible to win one of the following prizes: (the "Prizes").
  12. The Promoter shall notify the winners of the Prizes via email within 30 days of the relevant Prize Draw.
  13. In the event that a winner of a Prize fails to respond to the winning notification email within 30 days of the Promoter having issued such email such winner will be deemed to have forfeited the relevant Prize and he shall have not claims against the Promoter in such regard.
  14. The Promoter's decision is final on all matters relating to the awarding of the Prizes and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or any third party.
  15. Your participation in the Promotion will be deemed to be your agreement for the Promoter to use your name, likeness or image for promotional purposes without the requirement for any payment to you and you expressly waive any claims relating against the Promoter in this regard. The Promoter shall also include on the PacificPoker.com a link to the Internet sites containing the Reviews.
  16. The Prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for money or money's worth.
  17. By entering the Promotion each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion and the awarding of the Prizes.
  18. By entering the Promotion each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Promoter, its legal representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages whatsoever arising out of the Promotion or the Prizes.
  19. The winning entrant shall be solely responsible for taking out and maintaining the relevant insurance policy in relation to the Prizes and for any taxes levied in relation to the delivery or receipt of the Prizes.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at its sole discretion.
  21. The Promoter reserves the right (at any time) to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion if, in the judgment of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified.
  22. The winners' name will be disclosed to anyone who writes to the Promoter.
  23. These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Courts of Justice, London.
